I had the opportunity to drive my first Lamborghini this past weekend in Monterey. What a car! You don't see many rear wheel drive, naturally aspirated supercars (or even sports cars) being produced anymore, so the Huracán LP580-2 is something really special. BTW... you test drive vintage sports cars? My ultimate dream is a Ferrari 275GTB NART Spyder, from San Luis Obispo to SF --- all on Highway 1.

I haven't driven any vintage sports cars unless you count the 1972 Datsun 510 I reviewed recently. I doubt anyone will be handing me the keys to their 7-figure vintage Ferraris anytime soon.

The Aventador (driven by a Lamborghini employee) I was chasing sounded even more ridiculous.

Totally agree with you on that last statement. Lap times are interesting but ultimately pointless to me.
