the front looks like the new 1 or 2 series and not the 3 series. Are you sure that's the new M3? (oh, wait, look who I'm asking. nevermind)

I like the looks.

I would have to say, yes it does.

That said, that front end is almost comical in its details. They seem to be borrowing some of the bulldog look of other cars. I can't see BMW releasing the car without leaving a few of those lines on the design room floor.

Not sure if I dig the rising beltline thing, and the rear wheel arches are just off.

I have to see the rear end, but based on this one pic, I probably wouldn't get it (in a money-no-object situation of course)

I hope it doesn't make it to production with a weak ass 380hp V8 like seems to be the general consensus these days. The new M3 will probably be $65K well optioned in coupe form and if they don't up the hp to at least 400hp then I will keep my E46 M3 and buy a C6 Z06 and slap a T88 on it.

the market for M3 owners will be sharpened t othose of our kind, I'm sure the older crowd and the women wouldn't like the aggressive lines of it

Technically, that would be the M4, not the M3.
