Default Le Mans Pototype Dimensions?

i am trying to find out the dimensions of le mans prototype cars (closed roof) and i am having a little trouble.

can you guys point me in the right direction, or maybe give a me a hint that will help me search more efficiently.

i am curious about whatever specs or dimensions i can get my hands on but i primarily concerned with width, wheel base height, length etc.

if at all posible i would like some technical drawing type things like they have in the factory repair manual for a car.

try the Le Mans organization that makes the rules. Google is your friend.

You are looking for the rules that the ACO publishes. A little searching on google should allow you to find the pdf containing all the info you need.

this is the kind of info that i need. thanks.

now i can search for ACO and see what i come up with.

the rules would be helpful, but i was more wandering what x particular car in use is dimensionally.

so although the rules may say that it can be up to x mm long and x mm wide, that doesnt necessarily mean that those are the measurements the teams are using.

i dont know enough about the individual teams or anything to search on an individual basis.

everything i have found is really outdated.

any info at this point can only help

thanks again

The official site the the race is http://www.lemans.org

Just clicking around a bit, I found http://www.lemans.org/24heuresdumans/2005/...lements_gb.html

Those are the rules the cars must comply with, but does not contain information on any specific car.

The only closed roof prototype car to race recently is the Bentley Speed 8 a couple years ago. Are you asking about that car specifically? All other prototypes for about five years or so have been open topped, I think.

Overall Dimensions
Length: 4630mm
Wheelbase: 2730mm
Width: 1990mm
Front track: 1700mm
Height: 990mm
Rear track: 1680mm
