Default Let's discuss the A7

Is there any new news of the A7?

I'm still not clear on the arrival of the coupe; let alone the convertible, but the convertible is supposed to be a 4 door convertible -- something new for the luxury car market.

More info

I'm not normally a fan of the wood on the interior but THIS loooks really nice.

Looks fantastic. I love seeing these new sedans with some character (CLS, Volkswagon CC, Jaguar XJ, Porsche Panamera, etc). Everything used to be a bland box with different badges/headlights/tailights - again, love it.

And now everything is a swooping box. Nothing ever changes in style. It's always everyone copying everyone. We've gone from three box (80's) to wedge (90's) to wedge with bangle bits (eary-2000's) and now it's on to sweeping fastback-esque roof lines.

Looks like Porsche will get the final laugh to me.

To my eyes, the sedan looks great, the convertible looks hideous. Is Audi still hanging their engines in front of the front wheels (aside from the R8, of course)?

The interior looks like a BMW's that got hit with an ugly stick.

It may not look like much now, but with everything the Audi Design Team has done lately I can't wait to see this one in the flesh
