Car is actually painted, not primered - just no clear coat. Primer stains when wet and whatnot. We wanted a darker "gray", but it works ok. Also, clear coat is really expensive. We painted it in my garage without masks for 150 bucks.

We have only lowered the back so far, but here are my two younger brothers trying to show what car will look like with front lowered. I don't think that pictures really do it justice though, due to the smallness of the wheels and car as a whole, it doesnt look nearly as low as it is.

My brother and I have done everything, two poor high school kids = no big expensive engines, wheels, clear coats, seats, ect, ect. I love the car though, and it is really unique in SE Oklahoma. I am a freshman at college and my brother drives the car at home, but he gets stopped all the time by people asking questions. Fun fun car

I got a ticket from a cop once for no muffler, no turn signals (front or rear), no headlights, no breaklights, and rolling a stop sign (before rebuild it would die if stopped).

 

you should splurge and get the clearcoat. it'll look 10X better.
