The Lightning Lap, 2009
because they suck? Ive had a 300C rental and the interior quality was just horrid. ive seen civic interiors which are better. i dont even want to get started in the chevy, ford, or jeep interiors. it seems like american cars can only have 2 interiors, crappy or great, IE Cadillac

Either way, the 370Z is a no go in my book. Engine also supposedly sounds like a UPS truck at high revs.

Seeing the M3's performance validated my opinion that it's hard to beat as an all-rounder. Seeing it beat the Porsches was icing on the cake!
That is particularly impressive given that the 911 is a "pure" sports car with focused intentions while the M3 is a focused adaptation of a moderately sporty car.
I'm actually more impressed that the Cayman S tied the 91's lap time with far less power. I still want a 911 (I want the rear seats) but a Cayman S seems like so much more car for the money.
370Z suffers from the same fundamental problem as the 350Z did. It is a 2-seat version of a luxury sedan
Hopefully the FT86 will prompt Nissan to give us a new S13-esque Silvia/SX and a new 240Z-esque Z based on the same platform. But I kinda doubt it...
Smaller/simpler/lighter, please!

Why can't manufacturers put in top notch brake fluid for their performance cars? I think that was the primary issue with the 370Z. Bad brake fluid that boiled over and bye bye brakes.

It certainly does. If I closed my eyes I would have thought I was in a pathfinder.

Your brake pedal doesn't go to the floor when your brake pads are glazed, it goes to the floor when your brake fluid has boiled. If anything, more aggressive pads exacerbate brake fluid boiling problems as you input all your braking heat into a shorter period of time.
Corey is right - it's a brake fluid problem.
