Correct, low mileage (<30k) stock clean cars will run you into the mid 20s. 20k will get you a reasonably maintained used but not too abused <60k. The prices get worse if you live in any major metro area.

My buddy paid $18k and the car has 60k miles and very clean. I see them on Craigslist for under $20k.

anyone looked into importing one from canada? I have been seeing some great prices and am so tempted to buy one. I am just not sure how hard it would be to sell after the fact.

Half the Canadian ones are American. Shouldn't be a problem to resell, if you bring back a US car. I've been watching them for well over a year and quite a few were imported when the two currencies were near par.

The C5 has a button to switch between kmph and mph and the numbers on the gauges don't actually have any label, just a light in the center tells you which mode it is in, and the gauges display based on that mode. From looking at pictures, the C6 gauges appear to be the same.

Yep my c6z is the same way, I like to switch to KMPH to scare unknowing passengers sometimes. 0 to almost 100 in 1st gear ftw.
