You can buy aftermarket springs and have a shop install them for you - this would be a low cost option. Or, you can buy coilovers for around $1400 at least (much better as your stock shocks wear faster with different springs). Again, you would need to have a shop install the coilovers.
By the way, I see that you are from Walnut. What color is your car?

do a search...
it all sepends on price range. i am gonna start out with kg/mm's on stock shocks, then eventually throw on konis when the stocks go out...
u can get about a 1" drop before running into ride height issues and needing to replace stock shocks...

They cry that they are loosing money so they raise rates all the time. Then they will cancel your policy if you so much as THINK about tracking your car or moding it.
Then they post record profits of $700 billion LOVELY!
The big problem is guys with civics and sunfires lowering their cars so low they can no longer handle, 90% of these guys cut their springs!

I was under the impression that the stock suspension setup is excellent on the s2k... By just changing the springs, won't you be compromising some of that?
I would consult with a suspension expert before tampering with the stock setup.

everyone has their own opinion regarding the handling on the S. even experts have varying opinions.
coming from the miata, I personally see room for improvement in the directness of the handling at high speed turns. lowering the center of gravity about 1" should help out... but going to far may accentuate the S's unforgiving tendencies...
