lowering s2000

Also, a few years back when the Comptech S2000 & Neuspeed S2000 was tested by SCC, didn't they say it is not advisable to lower the S2000 at all ? Have a bad problem with lowering ? Handling get's really unpredictable.

i think if u do lower your s2, you would be more satisfied with the car. my friend tells me that my car looks like a toy.

I heard the same thing also...
me too, but thats the opinion of a car mag... doesnt mean its 100% true

i would pose this question to those who you know already lowered the S and see what they think.

but take it to Willow Springs or Laguna Seca and the differences will start to show.

There are plenty of tracked cars on this board who are lowered and do quite well. I'm 15mm lower ala kg/mm and have not experienced any negative handling characteristics despite some very aggressive driving.

Just make sure and get the car aligned. I would also imagine that improperly installing lowering springs (i.e. not "loading" the suspension before torqing the A arm and suspension bolts) could also make for some interesting handling characteristics

did you just install springs only, or did you modify the entire suspension?
