Default LSx Conversion FD

I'm not completely sold on the concept just yet, but it does sound mean, and gives rotary haters a way to still love their RX-7

enjoy

I just really am uncomfortable with the idea of motor swaps between manufacturers. I can't quite describe the feeling but it's kind of like finding out that santa clause isn't real.

i get the same feeling when i watch a racing series that has special rules for one car or another.

Ditto. There's a guy in Houston selling one (for a lot of money) but it's very, very reliable, extremely quick in a straight line and is fantastic on a track. The weight distribution is a bit off but other than that, it's really a no-brainer for me.

Same here. Plus, you better have deep pockets.

yeah, if you buy a RX-7, the first thing that should do is throw the engine in the garbage

nah, about $12-15k, and you can buy a roller FD for $6k...new subframe, T-56, and used LS2...the engine fits right in there like it was made for the car, there have been hundreds of conversions over the last 6-8 years

let's face it, you're not going to build a cheaper 400 rwhp car that weighs 2800 pounds, runs low 11s, and matches or beats C6 Z06s on track
