Oww. Reverse is a solid gate past first -- you really have to push it and can feel the gate clearly.
That image you posted has a missing button. Anyone else guess what should be there?

The missing button is for the rear defroseter. For whatever reason, some (if not all) '01+ M Coupes have an empty spot there and the rear defroster button is in a spot in between the seats. Kind of odd, since its hard to get to there...
