I enjoyed the read. M/T, CarandD, and every Euro magazine I've read on an airplane has ranked the M3 above the CTS-V coupe and RS5 in a head on comparison.

I just find it interesting how the M3 gets compared to everything from the CTS-V to Mustang GT/Boss, RS5, 911 Turbo, GT-R, C63 AMG, IS-F, etc. It never gets to rest on its laurels very long!

Love the M3 coupe, hate the sedan. Love the V sedan, hate the coupe.

So it lost by 1.3 points with the worse tires that BMW gives on it, and it mainly lost because it couldn't drift as well as a car that had 550 some horsepower? I think this says a lot more about the M3 than it does the CTS-V.

I think it says a lot more about Inside Line than anything. Honestly, a drifting competition is the "tie breaker" for two sports coupes? Heaven forbid they just say "They're too close to call; pick your poison."
