Looks like a pretty fun little ride. Doubt it makes it's way over though.

About $64K. That sounds reasonable.

My first house cost $62,000.

But this is a Benz, so I get it.

And if I was 125 years old, a model T would cost me $240 and a house would cost me $5-$6k...

Or, if I moved to Vegas or somewhere in the middle of nowhere where jobs above minimum wage are non-existant I too could buy a house for $60k... LOL

It looks like a luxury version of an STI. MB's response to Audi's RS3. It looks like fun, but not $64k fun... depreciation does wonders to AMG prices.

Dig the car.

Though I would speculate they wouldn't sell many in the U.S.

it looks a lot better than i expected.

however. 26 psi turbo on a 2 liter car that costs 60k+?
I guess when you say it that way it kind of sounds like a Mitsubishi FQ400, but its a Mercedes. just seems like a weird direction to try and get a lot of HP out of a 2 liter instead of starting a little bigger and maybe leaving room to grow

It won't cost $60K over here. That's a straight pound-to-dollar conversion. The actual car should cost about 2/3 that, probably, so maybe $40K, plus or minus $5K.

LOL!!! A Subaru STI costs $40K...

There's no way that thing isn't going to have mark up. AMG cars don't sell for less than $60k brand new.

Are you converting to Canadian dollars? I'm not sure how things are priced there, but I thought that for the same car bought in Canada versus the US, it's more expensive in CAN$.

Anyway, no way this thing goes for less than $60K brand new after all the mark up - that's assuming it even makes its way across the pond, which it won't. If the Audi RS3 didn't make it, this thing won't either.

"U.S. customers, however, won’t get the chance to buy one. But don’t fret: Mercedes will offer this same high-performance AWD 2.0-liter turbo package to American buyers for about $50,000 via the new CLA45 AMG, a swoopy new sedan that debuts a few months later."

isn't C63 AMG start around 60k? so this got to be lower than that. probably around 45k or so with options probably 60k??
