nice. that will maybe keep the markups down. I still view the BMW as cheaper because of the maintenance....although AMGs are pretty bulletproof though, I believe.
The C63 is a MONSTROUS car. I know that the AMG's motors are handbuilt. I dont think the M engines are. The M motors are built on BMW's F1 product line. Knowing that is a pretty cool tidbit. They are designed I'm not sure how the resale values go between the both of them though. I look forward to seeing both of those sweet machines on the road.

I've driven the CLK63 and CLS63 for about 20 laps ea. on Autobahn in Joliet. The 63 motor is all about the torque. It has a much better delivery than the SC 55 motors. (C55/CLK55/E55 for reference)

I agree, I prefer the 63 motored cars, even if they aren't quite as fast.

That's one steal of a deal on the C63, given with software/exhaust/intake it should be in the 540hp area.

great price. This is a muscle car era, with cars similar 3600 lbs and up with 400 to 500hp like must be a dozen (that people can afford) and 20 or 30 overall (ie. SLR, AMG V12s etc..).

That and the coming gas crisis LOL

It's not that I am not in love with these cars, but I think 20 years from now we'll be at $8 a gal gas and we'll be driving Hydrogen fuel cell cars (or whatever) and we'll say wow that 2008-2010 were wild times.

I do not say for sure we will be at $200 a barrel oil in 10 years (I DON'T KNOW) but I have some Exxon stock (just in case) I know we're not going back to $30 a barrel oil price least not with India/China wanting to drive and IC (gas powered) cars are the cheapest thing going right now and so India/China will get started with them at least until oil gets too high.

Sorry for the OT, but I love these beasts and wouldn't mind owning a current (future) muscle car much like people looked back on the GNX or the TT Supra and say that was the sh!t and had one back in the day.

Still my mind is on the M3 (with 3-pedal MT) I think.

Much better price than I thought they were going to come out at. Loaded this will come out to around $60K-low $60K. Great car for that price.

$54K? Damn! That's relatively cheap, for such a car. It's cheaper than the Lexus too.
