Each to their own I suppose. California has classic Ferrari that front engine sports car look to me; not a bad thing at all.

Its turn in is very precise. Especially so with the more direct ap1/CR rack ratio.

Don't mean to knock your California if you own one, just saying for a modern Ferrari it seems to be rather polarizing. The front 1/3 of the car is fine, but the rear haunches have a high waist line and the rear of the car face isn't pleasant to look at. Remind me of a 370Z convertible a bit in this regard. When you put any other modern Ferrari IE 360/458,488 next to the California there is no comparison to me in sleek beautiful proportions. The California design actually looks more like it would be in a modern Maserati lineage line up.

California doesn't look like anything close to any Maserati ever made. Which part of the design says "Maserati" to you?

A polarizing Ferrari would be the FF's design.

So you're talking about the quick ratio rack. The s2k wasnt know for having particularly good steering. The 86s will blow your mind in comparison.

I doubt it. For one thing at least out of the box the car cant generate enough grip to make an otherwise crisp steering work hard enough. What good is steering if inputs are just creating tire slip. I'm talking about how direct the steering is and how the car responds to steering inputs. The quicker ap1 ratio just adds to the quicker response and direct correlation from driver to car reaction. Numb feel with electronic steering is present, but its also subjective to a degree as well. Feel is subjective. Steering precision isn't. The S2k has excellent steering in my book.
