Default Moto GP - great day for the sport

Just finished watching the Moto GP race from Welkomm. It was a fantastic race with the best possible outcome, Sete Gibernau held off Rossi who was charging at the end to earn a very emotional victory for the Telfonic Honda team wearing his late team mate Dajiro Kato's number 74 on the bike and on his leathers. Fate couldnt have given us a finer result. Im normally a big Rossi fan but on this occasion I was hoping that he would finish 2nd. It was a great result for the team and the sport and the best possible way of remembering Kato.

Sete and Rossi had earlier battled with the fast improving Ducati of Troy Bayliss who rode a great race.

Well done Sete, RIP Kato.

I think Rossi would've passed if the person in front wasn't Sete, it's a big chance that Rossi gave the win to Sete out of respect to Kato who was also friends with Rossi.

I second that, Rossi really realed him in in the losing 5 laps. Glad to see Nicki Hayden and the other Americans did well.

I have to disagree, by the time Rossi was close enough to attempt a move he had run out of overtaking places. He was charging at the end but it was a little too late, the battle with Bayliss probably cost him victory.

He complained about his tyres when questioned in this weeks MCN, he said they were 'consistant, consistantly bad' as he put it. I think Sete won on merit on this occasion, all weekend he proved that he could match Rossi's times.
