Motorcycles...
Im looking to get myself a bike but I know nothing about them at all. Could someone tell me some webpages about motorcycles and tell me like the top 5 bikes that are out? Thanks
the CBR1100XX is probably the fastest honda bike you can buy, i am going to buy one soon.
the CBR600F4i is one of the most popular sportbike out there, and pretty affordable(and pretty damn quick).
the fastest production bike is probably the hayabusa.

best bikes or the sport bikes
are (In no order)
1. Yamaha has the R1 and R6
2. Honda has the Cbr f4i(most streetable), the 600RR which more aggressive. 954
3. Suzuki has the GSX-R 600,750,1000. the 750 is amazing, and the 1000 is absolutely insane beatin the hayabusa which suzuki also makes.
hayabusa is like a 1300 i believe.
4.Kawisaki has the new 636, maybe the Zx7 still and the Zx12
there all amazing, its all about riding position that makes the difference
its all preference.
Been alot of talks bout 636 kawi and new honda RR.
R6 is know to be a great handler, great styling
R1 is known to be insane
Gsxr 750 i think got best bike of year
Gsxr 1000 is just a insane beast
honestly i dont know how bikes are legal.
if u wanna learn about bikes get the magazines. and talk to people with bikes only site i know of is stuntlife.com, dont know how informative it is. its all about blocks, and endos.

I moderate over at www.hsbn.net so I am fond of honda's. I recommend NOTHING bigger than a 600 to start, and PREFERABLY start on a ninja 250 or something. IF youare mild mannered, then a 600 might be ok, but most of us guys are too wild for the 600's. Even the 600's have 100hp in a 415lb setup, so there is more than enough power to commit suicide with. They WILL flip on you in second (I speak from experience), but bigger isn't always better here. Put me on a 250, and I will still lose 99% of the 600+ bikes out there.
For PURE power, go Suzuki.
For ABSOLUTE RELIABILITY, go Honda
For comfort, Kawasaki is usually good, though they are all new this year.
For a mix of all, go Yamaha
For a big name, go Ducati
A GOOD starter bike is also the Suzuki SV650. Kinda cheap, and easy enough to handle to have fun on. Check us out for more questions!

Don't be an idiot and buy your dream bike right off the bat. Do like theman1990 is suggesting and go for a smaller bike for 6months-1year experience. If you get a powerful/big bike then you will go out and wreck it. Or best case scenario you will have a lift threatening event that will scare the bejesus outta you. Pretty soon the bike will just start collecting dust in the garage. Then eventually you will sell it for a big loss.
Learn on a 500 cruiser or a 250 sports bike. Get a used one for half the price of the new equivelent. Put many miles on it and get good experience. Then consider upgrading later. You actually about 2-3 years of experience before you should buy your dream bike. I've been riding since 75 (started with a mini bike). I still haven't bought my dream bike. Right now I have a 96 Kawi GPZ1100 sports tourer. Someday I'll get a Valkyrie or a Yamaha equivelent.
But quit looking at the leading bikes and get something you can handle. You've been warned.
