I sold my 2005 MINI Cooper S last month. A couple days later I picked up a 2007 BMW 335i with 19800 miles. It has the premium package and sport package. It also has the extended warranty through June of 2015. I bought it off the bay from a seller in AZ. I picked it up in Bullhead City, drove down to Tucson to hang with a friend, then drove it back to Denver a few days later.

This car is quick, quiet and fun to drive. Exactly what I was looking for.

 

Now get it tuned

 

Ditch the chrome wheels and make sure you sell that car before the warranty runs out. I'm starting to think of BMW as the 21st century Jaguar...

 

Nah, I'm keeping the chrome wheels. At first I wasn't sure, but when I saw them on the car, I knew they had to stay. Let's just say it is my anti-black, anti-matte finish statement. You sheep wanna go murdered out or matte black? Great, I'm going high gloss. Chromies for me, baby.

I have almost two years or 40k miles to decided if the car is reliable. I'll be just fine.

 

The thing is, chrome practically doubles the weight of the wheel. Not quite but close enough.

Bahh, I have too much horsepower now as it is.


That dude totally shorted me at Christmas. If he shorts me this year, I'm going to add some of those chrome things around the window to keep the rain out.

And BS on too much power. My E92 didn't have too much power even when it was making the clutch slip at 18 PSI on a E85 tune

 

 

Nice find. I just bought a 335i too.

But I'd have to kick my own ass if I drove a car with chrome wheels on it. Outside of that good choice. They are indeed very quick.
