Default moving to colorado

I am moving from Florida to Colorado, and my FD just won't make it. After i sell it, i am looking for a reliable AWD/4WD vehicle and i have narrowed it down to a 2002 4runner and a 2005 impreza wagon (non turbo) My primary concern is long term reliability, and seeing as i would buy one of these with around 50k on the odo, i would hope to squeeze 150-200k out of one. So for reliability ALONE, which should i choose and why? thanks in advance.

4- runner. I have one, but it's a 98 SR5 AWD. Haven't had any problems that has left me stranded.

120K miles now, almost 10 years old and this is what I have done so far

1. Starter at 105K
2. Sway bar links at 120K
3. Fuel filter at 100K
4. Tune up at 100K
5. Radiator fluid at 50K, 100K
6. Oil changes every 5K, with synthetic after 100k
7. Trottle position sensor at 110K
8. O2 sensor at 120K
9. New muffler at 120K
10. Gear box fluids changed at 80K
11. Brakes only twice in 120K miles.

All those items listed above are maintance in my book. I expect all these items to go after 10 years or so of driving

Runs like a tank. Never had any other issues. NO rust....paint also holds up well.

Send me a line if you have any particular questions.

Why can't you drive the FD in CO? I drive my S2000 year-round. Winter tires are going on soon.

Subi's are ugly pieces of shit.
I dont think he's looking to drive a video game.

A 4-runner 4WD will handle better in the snow than any 4-wheel drive car.
Also, the 4-runner was listed in the top 10 for reaching >200K .

LOL, for some reason people always think that Denver is a snowy place. In reality, we only have 3-4 real snow storms every year. By the next day, the snow is typically melted. You only really need an AWD car if you are really into skiing, as it's always snowing in the mountains.

Also, I drive to Denver everyday, and everyday it seems like the brown cloud over the city gets larger and larger. So as a Coloradan I have to ask that if you must move here, please please please try to make as little environmental impact as humanly possible. In other words, screw the 4-Runner, get the imprezza...
