MR-S driving impression
Went out last night with my fast (for some reason the S's engine begges to be reved). Plush ride relative to the S. Steering Response not as sharp.
Anyways i followed while he was driving in my car. Went around diamond head. He went back and forth. I can tell he was trying to stretch the s's legs.
Well when he got out, I asked him if he still wanted to race?
you know what he said. Then he asked if he can buy it off me!!! I said no.
Got back in my car with a different prespective.
got to try a Miata now.

both of these cars (miata and mr-s) are slow as balls. i used to work at carmax and drove all types of cars, they're horrible man. please dont even compare the miata, mr-s to the s2000. the only thing they have in common is the soft top, nothing else nothing more.
sorry for being blunt.

thats just because they're so damn light. i can get a gokart to handle like that too, but doesnt really mean anything.

redneck indeed.
i was just trying to make a point that the s2000 handles great due to the technology put in the suspension(fine tuned springs, showa shocks, high x-frame, etc, etc). The s2000 isn't lightweight compared to other sports cars, 2800 pds for a roadster is pretty heavy. mmkay?

as a former '93 mr2 turbo owner, I remember the first day the mrs-spyder was out, I thought it was joke.. and I thought back then and still today, nice looking but a huge disservice to actual mr2 die hards, and to some a joke of car. I wish Toyota would have given it 200+ bhp.. if they did, I wouldn't be here talking, I'd be on some toyota forum..
