Horsepower Freaks makes a turbo kit for the E46. For $16k installed you can get 519hp on pump gas. For $45k you can get 1120hp on 110 octane + alcohol.

By far the best turbo kit you can get for an E46.

Basically, the motor was ruined, but HPF treated him like a king and replaced everything. They shipped his car, bought him plane tickets etc.

For $45k I'd hope they got him an escort or two as well.

That's an E36 in the vid and it's got a 2JZ-GTE (Supra's) engine.

seems like people modify the E36 M3 and do engine swaps than the E46's

is it because of the wiring or easier under the hood?

Why does anyone give a shit anymore about some car with a 2JZ swap that makes a bunch of power? Is there really any person that thinks that an engine swap like this is hard for any type of skilled fabricator/ mechanic or that it is in any way challenging for a skilled tuner to make 1,000 hp with such a setup? Sure, the first time I read about a 1,000 hp Supra I thought it was cool, but I can't fathom why people still get a boner over this stuff.

2001 called, it wants its notion of awesome back.
