Why does anyone give a shit anymore about some car with a 2JZ swap that makes a bunch of power? Is there really any person that thinks that an engine swap like this is hard for any type of skilled fabricator/ mechanic or that it is in any way challenging for a skilled tuner to make 1,000 hp with such a setup? Sure, the first time I read about a 1,000 hp Supra I thought it was cool, but I can't fathom why people still get a boner over this stuff.

2001 called, it wants its notion of awesome back.
Anything can make power these days.

What kool-aid are you sippin' in 2010 gangsta? Whats the 411... ? Whats the new 'notion of awesome'?

Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I feel like 1000 hp ANYTHING is pretty awesome.

Doesn't mean the driver's not an idiot though.

Because then you can do super-cool stuff like race from a 75 roll on a big huge highway, or sit on a dyno, or whatever else it takes to cover up the fact that you can't drive for shit and would get waxed by a stock Miata on a road course.

The air from the BOV on that engine would probably punt a miata out of the way.
