They had that car in the Car & Driver modded-car shootout. I think it got 3rd place. Really quick car, looks like a GTP racer. Unfortunately they said it drove like one on the highway too, i.e., couldn't stay straight, minute steering inputs resulted in huge changes, etc. But it definitely has the gawk factor going for it.

Well they rehashed it then because it was in a recent issue of C/D

 

The original test was of a base model on 18 inch race tires. It did 0-60 in 3.5, 1/4 in 12 seconds and stopped from 70 in 149 feet. This one had a LS1 with 350 hp/350 tq... a Corvette engine) The car tested more recently (in the supercar comparo) was a MT900 Photon, which sells for $214k, as opposed to the base models $163k or so. The Photon weighs around 2200 pounds, as opposed to the base cars 2600-2700(I can't remember exactly). This car had a 425 hp from a LS6 with headers (Corvette Z06 engine) However, in this comparison, the cars were all required to run on street tires. Also, the original used a Porsche 911 tranny and I guess it was geared kinda funny. The Photon/race version had a Hewland 6 speed. It did 60 in 4 seconds flat and ran a 11.9 1/4. I think it's a really cool car- you could make tons of hp with that LS6 and it weighs only 2200 pounds. I think it needs a big GT wing to complete the look. Haha...
