Default Car and Driver

Check out the December edition of Car and Driver on page 14 they had a lil harsh goodbye for our S =[ ill just quote the first sentence our 2 "the death of the honda s2000 is quite sad but predicted nonetheless. The s2000 seemed a little under par for a race- insired sports car." - John Roesel

He made some positive remarks to but dang, i really thought Car and Driver would think before they put some crap like that out.

check out the article,

Sunny

Yup it was up to par 10 years ago but the cars s2k used to be competetive with in the early years now blow it away - Boxster, z3, 370z... sad but true.

It was a letter to the Ed(itor).

If you read the whole thing (sorry, at work and don't have the issue in front of me), the gist is that the car has ALWAYS been a little "under par for a race-inspired sports car."

Eh, let him eat cake and drive a Solstice.

it's car and driver. not road and track.
they probly don't like it cause it doesnt have navi or heated seats or a back up camera or 7 way adjustable seats.

he probably didn't like the low end torque and he's probably too uncomfortable *FAT* for the driver seat.. shame.

Car and Driver has shown the S2000 love consistently through its tenure, from making the 10 Best list several times, winning numerous comparisons, to several authors campaigning an S2000 in a race series (the specifics of which escapes me now.)

I don't doubt that most of the writers there hold the S2000 in anything but the highest regard.
