The '05 was purchased while we were living in DC, and they only have AWD at dealers up there. The '07 and '08s were purchased after we moved down to NC, so RWD was much easier to find. We don't get any snow to speak of here (a slight dusting and everything shuts down), so we don't need AWD, so I figured might as well save a couple bucks, few pounds, and an mpg or so by getting RWD. I can't say I notice one bit of difference between the AWD and RWD.

So you finally pulled the trigger. Great choice on the color too

I love my FX35 so I am sure you will love the EX. Great looking car.

Quiet exhaust, nothing the aftermarket can't fix

Give us an update of how you like/dislike the EX after some time in the seat

Brandon
It was one of those "this is what I want" so I had to go out and find one. I got 10K off the MSRP so I felt pretty happy. White EX;s were not a popular colour in western Canada, so that is why I had to blow off the local dealer and go shopping my self.

The streets are a mess today, sloppy and the temps are rising. I do want to drive it but I think the 3M is more important. I get 3 months of free XM radio, but I have to program it. It is my opinion this car has to many fun features for the normal person. But I wouldn't have it any other way.

The AWD system is not full time AWD, just when you need it. This car is rearwheel drive unless you need the front.

Took some more pictures. I took it for a short drive today as it is cold and the roads are relatively clear. The break in is 2000 KM and no hard breaking, so that means just a little spirited driving fun. It really wants to go but I want to break it in properly.

I think I need get used the vehicle, but at this point I find visibility when shoulder checking is a bit of a challenge. The mirror's need to be adjusted better I think, and just get used to a new feel.

I think I am babying the the breaks, but I find them a lot softer than my BMW, so it is a matter of driving habit change maybe.

Nice car. Does the EX have the 14" brakes like the G's?

Hondagal, you are going to your EX. I have 36,000 miles on mine. For combined city hwy driving I have a 23 mpg average. Did you get the Stone interior or the Tan? Mine is Stone and I had the dealer change out the dash from wood to the Black/Aluminum combination.

I am not sure what size the brakes might be, I will have to check it out.

F1DNA.. the EX has the tan interior. I don't mind it at all.

I do agree with you but why would you bring up the Venza? Was HondaGal considering one?

The Venza is in a different class then the EX. The Venza is about twice the size...
