Nice looking car, congrats. It does look like a very large car, with that power level it should move pretty good though. A 1000 hp ICE vehicle typically has traction issues, how do these cars handle all the power in terms of traction ?

I haven't pushed it at all yet
Handling is really quite good based on one out of city day trip
I believe it is limited to just under 800 HP until you unleash launch control
I have the winter wheels and tires installed, with slightly narrower rear tires (summer set up is staggered) and I expect max rear grip will be reduced a bit
The car is about the size of a BMW 5 series, about 3 inches wider than my Q50, and that has been the biggest adjustment for me in city living (have to use the electric mirror folding prior to entering/exiting my garage), much easier than parking and getting in and out of the NSX (parked else where)

The previous service manager at my local Aston Martin dealer is now the service manager at the new Lucid dealership near by. I love the looks of the Lucid! Really cool. Good for you. @clutchcargo You know how to pick them!

that definitely looks nice!!!! what is the insurance like on a 1000hp car compared to any other similarly priced car? lol

Are you even allowed to take it to the dragstrip? i would imagine any 9 second car has to have full cage, etc.....

Thanks
I was just in Boston this past weekend and stayed in the Waterfront
Totally blown away by the amount and level of development there
Basically a 1 percenter lifestyle/party enclave
Visited the Lucid studio there, super nice and well informed staff there
They are big time looking forward the the Natick facility opening to help them cover the volume of orders/deliveries and local PDI and service (now being done near me in Chicago)

Thanks
To my surprise insurance is about $1080 a year added to my other cars
As reference, the NSX is over $2700
Never done a drag race in anything, that would be fun, would have to find a place that allows street cars as is
I had the winter wheels and tire put on last week, maybe a thing to do next Summer

Natick is where my friend is service manager. Looking forward to checking it out too. Very curious to test drive one of these. The design and details are stunning.

Down in Phoenix for a couple days and saw one at the Lucid store in Scottsdale mall. I really like the interior materials and the back seat area is ginormous. Looks smaller in person than the pictures make it look. Wide car though. I like it!

Sorry, haven't driven it much in the past couple of weeks.

Took it out this morning and charged it up.
