Thanks for the compliments, guys!

In response to your questions:

Steve - no I still have the KTM. I've ridden it maybe 1 or 2 times this year. Hit me up if you want to go for a ride sometime.

Christople - Silverstone II

Jacques - the acceleration completely blows away the CS, no comparison. It feels more like C6 Z51 strength, just more biased to the top vs. bottom end.

The steering feel is fine, though I wouldn't put it in the same league as the CS or an Elise in terms of transmitting every nuance of road surface conditions in fine detail. It's the best sedan steering I've experienced short of an Evo VIII MR.

damn!

I thought your new car would ''feel'' slower than your old Cayman S under 60MPH because of the extra weight and the fact that it doesn't really have a lot more torque to carry around those extra pounds.

You're making me want to test drive one

Last question: how's the ride around town compared to the Cayman S? Does the chassis soak up bumps well?

thanks for your answers and congrats on your new beast. It would def. be my #1 choice if I had kids.

It's not a torque monster, but it has plenty of pep at all speeds. funat9000, it's quite a bit stronger than the S2000 at all speeds, has no VTEC-like "hit" at any rpm, but just keeps getting stronger as the revs rise. IIRC, I believe it has at least 80% of it's max. tq. from 2k - 8400 rpm. You can drive it pretty normally, and you don't have to worry about getting dusted by normal vehicles, unlike in an AP1.

The ride is quite a bit better, but it's not apples to apples since my M3 has EDC, but my CS didn't have PASM (both have 18" wheels). My wife finds it perfectly comfortable even for hauling our son around.

It's std. on the coupe, N/A on the sedan. No biggie, just one less thing to worry about over the long run....and the word @ M3Post is that the sedan outhandles the coupe anyway due to more favorable weight dist. (it's 3" shorter, w/ less trunk overhanging the rear axle).

Love the car, the one that has bugged me with the new design is the rear end
to me the taillights just look to "small."

on the coupe they changed them didnt they?
either way good choice, for a segment of cars with to many choices lol

LOL, it already has a badass bluetooth implementation in w/ the nav screen/idrive/steering wheel controls.

If I sell the Miata, I'm getting an NC to replace it.
