Default Is this the nail?

The word is American Honda is completely pulling out of DMG/AMA Superbike/Sport Bike/Supersport for 2010. The current spec of the rumor has them pulling all levels of support including Corona Honda, Erion Honda, factory-supplied technicians and any race team staff.

Is this it for the AMA?

Who cares. WSS and WSBK are the only series I bother to watch.

There are some of us that prefer to attend the races in person, and these sanctions don't come to my local track. Watching motorcycle racing on TV is OK, but I prefer the live action.

Watching the continuing decline of AMA has been an utter shame. We used to have a great time attending AMA races. I guess I'll just need to get into the 4-wheeled version of racing..
