I owned an 04 ep3 back when I was in college. For what I bought it for it was a fantastic car. The utility was fantastic, steering and shifting was superb, handling was fun. Everyone prefers the em1... Yeah never understood why. It made more torque with same hpwhile using reg gas. Put 55k on it without issue, for a dd I highly recommend it, great bargains. If this car came with the type s motor, alot of people's tunes would change.

almost bought one instead of the S2000. feels slow though. guess it keeps you out of trouble. shifter placed in a nice position. also, a great plus is how they did not hold their value very well.

Friend of mine just bought an EP3 for 2,500 bucks. Needed an a/c compressor, that's it. I hate that car but for that price I might consider getting one to beat on for a daily.

Also the Sentra SE-R Spec V's are really cheap

i had gti before my current cooper s.
i want to say gti > cooper s in every aspect except the mpg.
(but then again gti's fuel economy isn't all that bad either...)

wow for once people agree with my FWD criticisms
The only reasons someone wouldn't agree is if they are a Honda fanboy.

MS3 is the King of FWD/Complete package right now given their price point.

Well, if you wanted to dig deeper, I also noticed that the Colbalt SS was not included, which would run laps around the MS3

Oh I completely forgot about that although I'd assume it's lacking in the interior department. I think MS3's come standard with a decent sound system/heated seats/etc. Like I said, as a complete package a MS3 is hard to beat although a SS sure is quicker.

shhhh even considering that car opens a big can of worms on the board.... i also forgot to add the srt-4 which alot of people forget about nowadays...

those cars should be placed in front or behind the cooper/gti if you value performance over build quality based on your preference

I owned an EP3 before my S2000.....it's a great DD.

It gets good gas mileage (and uses reg. fuel)

The interior was pretty nice and the car was decently peppy.
