Default New AE86/Trueno?

Saw this picture on another forum. Has anyone else heard rumor a Scion-badged AE86/Trueno?

Haven't heard anything about it, but it would be pretty cool.

Don't tease me with images like that. That's just not very nice.

Come to think of it though, it makes sense to bring back a updated version of the AE86. Toyota is crying out for younger customers - they're average age of buyers is making Buick's crowd look young. This would be the perfect car to do that with.

I'd buy one, as long as they kept it within the same spirit as the original - lightweight, RWD, tossable and inexpensive.

Stick a celica engine in it with RWD and call it a day.

reminds me a bit of an audi/vw....definetly has a "euro" look to it...maybe the wheels, color or grey cladding. dunno....doesn't look bad though. Doesn't look special either...which I guess is the point.

That was what I was thinking but the back looks more like a Saturn

Anyone remember the MerKur XR4Ti? I think they stole the plans from them.

Who gives a sh!t. Car was a piece of garbage then and there isn't much to look forward to with that Saturn copy concept.
