Default New Audi TTS.

I just read about this car and am baffled at the base price of $68-70K.

Specs:

2.0L I4 turbo
265hp
3300lbs
0-60 in low to mid-5s

At that price, what sane person would pick it over an M3, GT-R, Z06, base 911, loaded Cayman S or Boxster, etc.? That's a crazy price for an Audi TT!

Audi's are becoming very expensive... They milk the crowds thanks to their styling.

Per the Audi website, coupe starts just under $35k, the roadster is two thousand more.

Where's your source for the 68-70k base price?

Don't tell me you just converted Euros to US dollar and called it a day.

if that price is correct (which I doubt), then I'd say...

a lot of women would pick it over the gtr, cayman, m3, etc.

http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/coupes..._tts/index.html

Motor Trend has it from $66,000 to $70,000 on sale November this year. It looks like they just used a currency conversion to get the "estimated price". The TT-S coupe in Europe is $44,900, and right now 1 Euro is $1.5658 American, so $70,304.42. And since Motor Trend knows everything

It looks great but not at that price.
