Love the quad exhaust tips. I would totally drive one, but not at that price.

i believe I saw a price estimate in the mid to upper 40's. which i'd believe more than 68, but mid to upper 40's would still be pretty pricey.

$60-70K is probably cost of CANADIAN prices. At that price, no.

But I've always wanted a TT - convertible or coupe, even the old ones, w/ all its failings, were lustworthy.

yeah I'd put it nearby the S4, not the RS4.

At that price, what sane person would pick it over an M3, GT-R, Z06, base 911, loaded Cayman S or Boxster, etc.? That's a crazy price for an Audi TT!
please let me know where I can find a GT-R for $70K.

I like the TT, always have. But I can't help but think that the base 2.0 litre FSI is the best value in the range. It's design is a little busier than the late generation's Bauhaus styled car, but there is very little to distinguish the base model from the TTS. If style is your selling point, then it seems tough to market a variation of a model which is twice the price of the similarly styled base model. I do think that the build quality of Audis and VWs in general is superior to BMWs and Mercedes. VAG products are marginally better built than Porsches, but at this price, Audi is asking alot of potential buyers when a competitior like the Cayman is available for roughly the same price.

It's a turbo and yet can only manage 265 hp...at the crank??!!

Looks like Audi just pwned themselves, regardless of price point.
