3 weeks ago I purchased an 02, Silver/Black, S, with only 4K miles. It seems to be in great shape. I am still learning a lot about what this car is capable of. I have experienced the Vtech 3 times so far. Thats cool. I am learning to rip up the few curves we have around here. It is an impressive car, just like everyone said it was. I traded in my 02 Miata that was stock except for exhaust and K&N performance air filter. It had a great growl and was fun with the top down also, but of course wasn't going to blow a lot of cars off the road. It had lots of vibration at lower speeds and made me nervous when enormous vehicles got close. Still, was a cool car. Had a 91 MR2 prior to that. Was much more solid than the Miata and a bit faster. Other previous cars going backwards chronologically: Mazda Millennia (boring), Honda Accord x2 (great), Toyota Camry (solid), Nissan Maxima (not bad), Nissan King Crab, VW Rabbit (fun), GMC Jimmy (yep, had the truck phase), Pontiac Grand Prix (nasty), MGB, Camaro, Ford Maverick (I hate to admit that one, lol), Dodge Charger (cool), 69 Mustang 6 cyl, 65 Mustang (V8, fun), 3 1955 Chevys (the stock one was the best, 2 modified), and a 1962ish VW bug that took a licking and kept on ticking. I guess it's obvious I am over 18 years old. Oh well. I have enjoyed reading posts in the forums and look forward to more reading. cya

Thanks to all of the welcomers. I am still enjoying reading and learning at the S2KI site. I have never been one to change my own oil in a vehicle but I am thing about doing it now. I see where xviper had provided instructions on this matter and that information is greatly appreciated. With just 4 inches of clearance on the S2K, I want to make sure I am safe while under it. I have considered buying ramps you can drive up on, that are sold at most auto parts stores. I was wondering if anyone uses them and has found them safe. Also, with the S2K being so low, will it fit on these type of ramps without hitting bottom?

My husband uses a floor jack to lift mine when he changes the oil. Can't help about the ramps.
