Seems like every time the GT-R does something theres a giant shitstorm of haters. I mean come on its a heavy 6 cylinder with 4 seats competing with world class cars.
Fast is fast..

It's just a wave. First there is a huge wave of people praising GTR, and unfortunately due to many of them being morons thinking it's the God, GTR's image gets eroded and caused backfire of another wave of people hating GTR with many of them being morons as well unfortunately...

LOL... has any car company faked a lap time on the 'ring?
Green doesn't look good on Porsches.

Accusations have been made against GM, and it was revealed that the RS4 sub 8 minute time was using racing slicks.
Personally, I think the GTR number is bunk. I don't see how anyone could think otherwise, to be honest. I just can't believe that it beats cars like the CGT, Enzo, or Zonda F, that are in a different class in every measure of performance, acceleration, handling, and braking. A car that can accelerate 30% faster, brake 30% faster, and corner 30% faster will be faster around a track, end of story.
Good on Nissan for building such a great car. Just don't see why they feel the need to lie about the numbers... Low 7:40s is nothing to be ashamed of.

Something's very strange about that video -- on many of the longer corners, the driver dials in more steering lock after the apex. This flies in the face of all conventional wisdom, which says that you should unwind the wheel at corner exit while feeding in power. I wonder if the GT-R's stability control reacts better to this bizarre driving technique.

Nissan did when it broke the "sub 8 minute reccord".
