I agree that the power numbers are nothing to be desired but in the end the women are going to find it very appealing to look at and want to be in . In the end that is all that matters to some people. Take the Saturn badges off it and then anyone can make up there own make to impress people.

It's a "Miata-killer." Too bad it's 10 years late.

some of you guys need to do more research and stop jumping to conclusions

assuming it's pricing its following that of the solstice

$20,000 base model:
170 HP (most likely 180 by the time the car is debut)

$25,000 FI model:
205-240 HP

The Solstice / Sky twins will be priced competitively with the Miata and the (soon to be at least temporarily defunct) MR2, but have significantly more power than either. GM gave a number of magazines very early drives in Solstice prototypes, and the feedback was universally positive -- they are apparently shaping up to be real driver's cars.

The cars are already receiving a decent amount of buzz on the SCCA forums that I monitor. I'm very interested to see how they turn out.

The side profile looks good, but the front and rear look too busy and ugly.

exactly. 170hp for $20K is a lot of power. not to mention this motor will have way more torque than mazda's puny 1.8L.
