They have talked about this car for a long time. I hope they finally introduce it though I am already happy with my car.

Is it built on the Pontiac Solstice platform? And is it me, or does it look alot like an MR2 Spyder...

Their story is that under the skin it is a Solstice, even down to the AC ducts.

I think it's a nice looking car. I might spend $0.50 on a picture of it.

Would I want to drive or own one? That's another story. I suppose if $25K was my absolute limit, and I really wanted a new car, then it might be a good option.

The car will be equipped with a 2.4-liter, 170-hp Ecotec four-cylinder engine with variable valve timing as well as a five-speed manual transmission with a short-throw shifter. A five-speed automatic will be optional.

why bother?

The usual GM rubbish. Those engine specs are so seriously outdated. Looking at that description already bores me. Only 170bhp from a 2.4 litre engine? Blah, wake up GM.
