Default New Twist on the SLS- AMG

Whoever invents the next lightweight high capacity battery system will be the next billionaire, imagine that car if we weren't limited to the standard Li+/voltaic/chemical cells of today ...... just think this car with same performance but about 500kg less weight..... Pure madness.....
Honestly as soon as the battery tech catches up to the rest of the tech out there we are in for another industrial revolution, will probably be called "Battery revolution"

Would I what, prefer the electric SLS to the roaring V8 powered one?

Not in a million years.

Comercially available tech test bed - if I were ultra wealthy it would be on my short list. Very, very cool package.

If I was insanely rich, Id have one. But, I'll always have to have an eco slaying gas engine in something

Batteries are the only thing holding us back from more green energy, better EVs, off-grid houses...

If you watched the whole thing, he's amazed by the traction control and vectoring from the electric motors. Acura's next NSX will have similar capabilities (rear wheels are driven by dual independent electric motors) and the RLX will have a lesser version. Seems like a good thing.

I'd love to have an SLS AMG... and while I was very impressed with the electric drive version, I'd have to go with the V8 myself. Call me old school but I put a lot of value on the experience of hearing combustion engine and the sweet smell of exhaust

Rather take the V8 still. Electric cars can have potential, but hydrogen is where its going to end up.
