That's the car it reminded me of.

I'm kind of "meh" about it. For what it's worth, it definitely looks unique. Most people wouldn't recognize it as a Miata.

 

I like it, do you think they modified a spoon hardtop? I've never seen a hardtop like that for a miata

 

You can get the hardtop from Mike at Autokonexion (Hardtop Link). This guy builds all kinds of amazing Miata's. He knows his stuff. He told me that his piece is basically an add-on to the OEM hardtop for the Miata -- which I think is a great idea.

No clue unfortunately, my cousin who happened to stroll by, saw it and took these 2 pictures. I assume it's gotten some engine work - even if it didn't, it's still a great talking point.

I think it looks decent, except the exhaust tips. But I don't know why anyone would invest that deeply into an NA Miata. I'm sure the cost of the mods exceeds the value of the car by a wide margin.
