I think that this is a good idea if I understand it right

The 2008 X is selling well. The economy is weak. Why not keep selling the 2008 model and not dump more money into R&D for 2009?

I think this is a good idea. Why not run with something that is selling fine.

smart move. seems alot of car lots hold used cars that arent selling well, when I bought my first honda (ap2 in early '05) there were like 10 ap1's on the lot and only 4 ap2's.

If you didn't buy one in 2008 why would you care? And if you did buy one you are probably happy that the car is the same unlike the poor WRX owners a few years back. Just changing something to change it...is not a good idea, IMO.

Dodge did the same thing in 2007 with the viper.

guys you're reading this wrong. the '09 model year evo exists, along with any changes from the '08... they simply aren't bringing any to the US. it will be sold elsewhere

funny because i was under the impression that they were not selling at all... hence why the dealership by my house has had the same 08's since october of 07.
