Not a S2000 problem but Civic problem
I have a friend who drives a Civic and someone poured 2 gallons of motor oil in his car while he was in the store. I told him to get on my account on 7thgencivic.com and see if someone can help and one guy suggested that we add some gas to thin out the motor oil and run. We did that and at first it ran fine and we decided to leave it running. Well now the check engine light comes on and it idles "REALLY REALLY" rough, it shakes pretty bad. Any of you have suggestion what to do? We tried to siphon the motor oil out but no luck.
whoever suggested running the car with oil in the tank is a flat-out idiot and should not have given advice. The tank should have been drained. I hate to generalize, but your average civic "enthusiast" knows next to nothing about any mechanical or performance issues and this only proves it. If siphoning was the next course of advice (which can really f*ck up your health), these idiots should be put in their place.
2 gallons is a lot to thin out, especially with a 13 gallon tank. I would imagine the fuel filter is clogged at the very least, and the injectors are likely heavily damaged, too. I would imagine that is (hopefully) the extent of the damage.
also, how did you find out someone poured oil into the gas tank? did your friend see it happen? was it rednecks bashing your honda or something.

How did he know it was 2 gallons too?
Also, I'm pretty sure they sell dedicated siphoning tools that don't require you to suck gas fumes into your lungs
