Honda keeps thing tighter than a frog's ass. That thing is a modded up S2000, no doubt about it. They are using it as a rolling chassis to develop the new car so nobody will know what it will actually look like

looks like an RX-8 wannabe with the extended cab.

if it really comes witha V10 (hell, even a V6 or V8), it might make for an interesting ride.

Maybe it's mid-engined and they had to extend the cab to fit the engine behind the seats.

all,
just because there are s2000 panels does not mean it is based on the S2000.

It's just a rolling test mule to test the powertrain and maybe suspension. They make their basic frame, and put body panels on it...in this case from an S2000. Then they make custom panels to fill in gaps...in this case the extended wheelbase with the custom roof.

It is just about certain they're not using the S2000 rear end (to the poster who was wondering how they used the AP2 rear end) and I'm sure the diff is totally different, too.
