the screaming chicken decal = uke: , IMHO.

The new car is emulating the 1st gen, late 60's models of the Firebird, not the 2nd gen late 70's version, so slapping the 2nd gen decal on the hood is just stupid, IMHO. If they want to make a model that is low, sleek, and sexy, and put the bird on, I'm all for it, but putting it on the example shown is no different than putting it on a 1st or 3rd gen car, then expecting people to smile rather than vomit.

Dude, how can you hate on the screamin chicken? I wouldn't buy a car, any car, with a huge decal on the hood, but it's kinda cool...in an 80's, trailer sorta way!

I know huge decals are tacky, but nowadays every auto company wants to put a 1" by 1" emblem of their logo on each car.

What comes to mind is that huge Mercedes 3 point thing, and that huge Toyota symbol

Don't forget the big H for honda and throw in any other auto manufacture.

That is hot as hell. And as cheezy as it is, that big gold firechicken decal still makes the car.

Andrew

it's kind of appealing in a Britney Spears trashy sort of way ^_^

I've actually thought "screaming chicken" didn't describe the huge decal very well. It looks manlier than a chicken...like a hawk or something.

Firebird = phoenix = more hawkish fowl than subservient dinner fare

BTW, someone take one of those pics and photoshop in a mullet on the bird's head. I'm too lazy to do it myself.

Looks like a Hot Wheels toy. Still cool though. It looks better without the gold-tone wheels. Too bad CA law is so restrictive about side window tint because that darked-out look is...

Ok flame me.......because God that is awful. The Camaro aint to bad, because it is bold and muscular without being too overstated, but that thing looks stupid IMHO.

Is pontiac gonna bring back plastic body cladding and gimmicky taillights too? I thought they were making progress.........

Take it with a grain of salt, I have never gotten a woody over any 70's muscle car in my life.
