I do like it, but I would have to see the performance numbers on it. I had an '86 GTI as my first car. I think the R32 would be a fun car, but VW is going to price it a little high in my eyes. It's also a limited production so that might raise the price a little more. Have it priced out at $25k-27k, then I would really look at it. But I think it will come in at about $30k-33k. Nice looking car though!!!

I have the new TopGear that tested the R32 vs Focus RS vs some Alfa..
R32 did a 6.4 to the 60mph.... so probably not a threat to the S2k
(though I believe the test was done under rainy weather)
How about the Z4?? C&D tested with 0-60 in 5.4 and 1/4 in 14.2... very
close to what s2k can do... though with 10k difference in price tag...
