Here is how it would look when it's done, full TRD lip kit, spoiler.

Those ugly tail lights have to be replaced with the 03+ taillights.

Check it out.

I've always liked MR2s. My favorite will always be the SW20, but the ZZ30 is not bad looking when paired with a GT wing:

www.primemr2.com here in NJ does a JDM gen4 3S-GTE swap or a K20 (!) swap into these. I'd look into those more instead of a 2ZZ.

SW20 MR2's are underappreciated in my opinion, but these I just can't get behind. They seem like a car that was cool in concept but was completely neutered by the time it reached production.

Thanks for the link. I inquired about how much a K24a2 swap would run.

I still can't get over the looks... reminds me of a frog.

They have tons of potential however.

Ugly car, but the closest thing you're going to get for a budget Elise/Exige. It's 600 lighter than an S2000... so a K swapped one with a blower on it would be my choice, with some sort of flared body work to tuck massive R comps under it. Could be a nasty little ride for less than 20K

K Swapped MR-S vs. K Swapped Miata NB.

Tough choice.

It is! I think I'd have to go MRS, because MR.

Prime said from $10k to $20k to swap it.

Waiting for a breakdown of costs.

Under $10k, it might be worth it

The overall aftermarket support for the MR-S is also pretty sad... It's not like the S2000 or Miata where there are so many options.
