Default Opinions on Lotus Elise?

I guess Lotus will be selling the Elise next year in the states. I want one. Any thoughts?

They sell well over here. Meant to be a great driver's car. Little short on creature comforts. Lots of people use them as track day cars.

i think it would be less of a success in the states because the car is a bit pricey here. not many people can afford to spend $40K on a toy. the elise, imo, is definitely not a car that you can have as your only car.

whats wrong with the engines? any S/C or turbo potential. or any other mods. 190 hp is crazy for a car that weighs less than 2000 lbs. but it would be great to have more

Great car, great engine, and no chance of you getting one. Lotus has said every single one of their 2500 Elises are spoken for.

If it came with a K20A from the JDM Integra(RSX) Type-R it would had been high on my radar. However with a 'yoda motor
