Default Passenger side Window - Del Sol

Some time last week someone trys to steal my Del Sol and broke the passenger side window to get in. I think someone walked by and interrupted him so nothing else was damaged or taken.

Anyway my buddy took it to a place and got it fixed for me. So over the weekend I'm driving around and I hear a lot of wind noise... My buddy thinks it's just me. But my gf noticed it too - she said it sounds like there is window open.

Any idea on what this might be? Thanks guys.

Sounds like a damaged or poorly replaced window seal to me.

Sorry for posting in the wrong forum.

I'm not a car guy... so I'm going to sound like an idiot... The window seal is the black part? The part where the glass meets the door?

The Del Sol is frameless.

Thanks!

Could be the seal, the window mechanism itself may need some adjustment. I know the S2000 window adjustment procedure is complicated.

Del Sols are notorious for having issues with wind noise and water leaks, you might want to find someone that knows them pretty well take a look at it. Factory service manual is probably helpful, doubt the local glass shop has one.

The 93 and 94 del Sol had a recall on their targa seals due to leaking and wind noise. Once the new seals were put on, mine were flawless. Honda even replaced mine for free out of war.

You might just need to tighten your latches. Take the targa off and put it on something that wont scratch it. Simply pop off the plastic pieces on the side. Under that is the mechanism. I suspect you just need to screw it down.
