Okay, I don't post a lot but I've read a lot of posts in the past couple years. It seems to me that there's a sort of pecking order in the general (average? typical?) attitude of S2Ki members toward cars. Sort of a continuum from respect and admiration and drooling down to mocking and disdain. I don't know if anyone has tried to capture it before (I searched...) but this is how it feels to me. This is not my rank order, this is my sense of the regard ya'll hold these cars in......

Lambo
911 variations
NSX
Audi RS6
M3 BMW
S2000
S4/S6
AMG variations
Evo
Viper
G35
Boxster S
350Z

Boxter S should be above the S2000.
AMG stuff, too.
G35 should be right under the S.
WRX-STi below the G35.
Move the Miata up; it is an excellent car.

• Any car driven in competition or track days
  
• Any street-driven car
  
• Any car used for street racing
  
• Any car driven by someone who disses others' cars despite never having driven their own car in competition or track days

In my experience, people who harsh on Miatas are usually in the fourth category.

the AMG series should be around the top of the list, especially the E55 or the CL/SL65 series should be up waay above the RS6 I believe
