Performance VS. Fun to Drive

The S2000 is faster around the race track than the ITR, but the Type R is a lot more fun to drive.
No sarcasm intended, I've just never driven a Type-R.

I haven't driven a Type R, but I can't imagine it being more fun than an S2000 in any circumstance.

Using the gas pedal to induce oversteer is fun. Using the gas pedal to induce understeer, not so much.

Am I being paid to drive? Then performance wins.
Am I driving for my own enjoyment? Then fun-to-drive wins.

And who chooses between a Vette and a Porsche for car ownership? The vette's build quality is a fraction of that of similar year Porsches. My old '72 914 had better fit and finish than a C6.

I was driving an S2000 when I decided to try out a Type R for a few months...
It was fun the first few weeks but I started to miss driving the S2000 shortly after.
I remember the smile I had on my face when I bought another S2000 and took my first corner: I never had such a huge grin on my face. I remember saying to myself ''a corner in an S2000 is soooooooo much more enjoyable than one in an ITR''.
