I drove my buddy's 06 STi a few weeks ago. They get the new 59/41 AWD torque split. 04-05 had 65/35. The car was comfortable and didn't give up much to bumps in the road. Not much body roll but lots of UNDERSTEER. No need to take the car over 3k when doing normal driving. The gearbox felt like crap and positioning is bad. When taken above 3k the acceleration is unreal. The front of the car literally lifts up.

Totally different car compared to the S but I like the twisties

If you're interested in daily driving, buy a Camry.

Their both sports cars. Do you want 4 doors? Do you want a convertible? Make some basic decisions, then start comparing apples to apples.
