Picked up a "new" daily.
Finally nabbed a daily.
It doesn't rain often here, but when it does, it floods (the town has no storm drainage). Catching rides to work from SUV driving friends was getting old.
Removing the passenger seat to transport my Greyhound was also getting old.
I flew to Houston a few days ago for this '93 4Runner.
It has the 3.0 v6 (known as the 3.slow on the 4runner boards). Auto. 4wd.
It had one owner and they had all recommended service done at the same Toyota dealer for the last 20 years. No wrecks and it lived it's entire life in Texas (no salt).
It is about to turn 180k.
Everything works.
The price was a bit high, but it has new tires, timing belt, water pump, and radiator.
The clear coat has some blemishes. Other than that, it's in pretty remarkable shape for it's age.
I plan to leave it stock. I just need to do some basic maintenance (fluids).
I put about 700 miles on it in the first few days of having it without any issues, so I'm pleased so far.

It looks like it is in fantastic shape inside and out. I love my 05 4Runner. Toyota makes a fantastic v6 that is virtually indestructible it seems. Also, with mine at least, the road noise is very minimal like most modern Toyotas. Something Honda could learn from them for sure.

It looks very similar to my old one, which was a great truck and totally trouble-free. Sold it to my cousin, and she ran it into the ground w/ IIRC over 200K miles.

It's obvious that the previous owners took excellent care of it.
It's missing one center cap and a door for a storage area in the rear. I have both of those things coming via eBay.
